About Course
Welcome to this course on Introduction to Mental Health Research, Technology & Data Gaps.
Mental disorders are common worldwide, with 50% arising before the age of 14. Despite the high burden and early onset, most conditions remain unrecognized and untreated due to lack of resources such as skilled workforce, social norms, data and technologies. In this course, participants will be able to learn and understand existing mental health research and data, gaps in prevention, diagnosis, treatment or management of mental health disorders, and understand the role of mental health data and technologies in addressing these gaps.
