About Course
Welcome to this course on Introduction to Mental Health Disorders & Research.
Adapted from several teaching and learning materials , in this course, we will explore the basics of mental health disorders and research, understand what mental health is and what are mental health disorders (type of mental health disorders), the causes of mental health disorders and the factors affecting mental health and get a general overview of treatment for mental health disorders; explore classification, diagnostics tools (e.g. DSM 5) of mental health disorders and measurements of mental health disorders. We will also know what are the most common methods to study mental health disorders.
Course Duration: 2 hrs lecture and 4 weeks of self paced study
